Recently graduated from Central Saint Martins – University of the Arts London, Cristina Guerrero Velez’s collaboration with a team of crafts people in Ecuador inspired her to explore a range of overlooked crafts, blending the artisan’s techniques within contemporary designs. Sustainability of materials, community and practice is at the heart of Guerrero Velez’s work. Excited by the prospects and opportunities of distributed production, she is actively seeking distribution and retail partners in the UK, Europe and globally.
Cristina has experience in production as well as in the use of 3D modeling tools. Multilingual (Spanish, English and German). Highly skilled problem solver with efficient time management to accomplish deadlines, always willing into collaborative work with high adaptability into team working.
